The NEW Dolphin Accuriser -  This is just one of the products taht is available from Dolphin (more to follow). This reloading tool, the Accuriser is simply the most accurate tool for checking seating depth. As used by many of the worlds top rifle shooters. Supplied with instructions and poly cut packaging. Case Sleeves and bullet rods can be made up for any calibre,  you supply the case (neck turned if required) that fits your chamber and the actual bullets that you wish to reload with and we will manufacture you a Gauge and Cartridge Sleeve which is calibre and chamber specific. These are serious measuring tools and are used in the chambering of rifles to ensure that the throat length is cut to the customer specification for the type of bullet that he is intending to reload with.



The NEW Dolphin Accuriser -  Operating Instructions;

1. Remove the bolt and make sure the rifle chamber is clean.

2. Insert the bullet rod with the selected bullet type into the case sleeve making sure the bullet is only protruding ¼ from the case.  (Spin Bullet Rod to ensure it moves freely up and down in the case neck). Each sleeve is fitted with the bullet and case that either you supply or we have in stock.(New Unfired  cases work best)  It is impossible for us to stock every case and bullet combination.

3. Slide the above assembly into the chamber (making sure it is fully chambered) and hold firmly against the chamber shoulder.

4. Extend the bullet rod slowly until you “feel” the bullet come to a firm stop against the rifling, then tighten locking knob on bullet guide rod.

5. Do this several times to ensure you get an accurate position of the bullet OGIVE touching the lands. (Sectioned Chamber to show bullet actually touching Rifling Lands)

6. Withdraw assembly and insert into gauge.

7. Rotate the bezel on the gauge until the zero is in line with the needle, then lock the bezel and withdraw the assembly.  Make a note of the small gauge reading.

8.Repeat steps 4, 5 and 6 to confirm the setting.

9. You now have the measurement from the shoulder of the case to the point at which the bullet Ogive is touching the rifling.

The gauge is now set for you to assist in the reloading of ammunition to the correct length, allowing for either bullet jump or bullet seated into the lands accurately. Use the Gauge when setting your Seating die to get the correct COL when seating. The Gauge will actually tell you whether you are seating before or after the Throat by reading the dial.  ie 0.010 before ZERO gives you a 0.010 thou jump and 0.010 after zero on the gauge will give you a seating allowing the bullet to be seated 0.010 thou into the lands. This will also give you a quick and easy measurement of each round of ammunition that you reload

10. Each Gauge and Cartridge Sleeve is Calibre specific but allows for the use of different bullet types to be used. This is a simple and accurate way to measure your Cartridge Overall Length using the bullet and case that you intend to reload with. Case Sleeves and bullet rods can be made up for any calibre,  you supply the case (neck turned if required) that fits your chamber and the actual bullets that you wish to reload with and we will manufacture you a Gauge and Cartridge Sleeve which is calibre and chamber specific. These are meant to be serious measuring tools and are used in the Chambering of rifles to ensure that the  throat length is cut to the customer specification for the type of bullet that he is intending to reload with.
